In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Broadneck Bruins volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Flowers Jaguars.
The Bruins (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Old Mill (Millersville, MD). The Patriots come into the Anne Arundel County battle with a 1-0 record.
Next, the Jaguars clash with the DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A battle, on Monday, September 18. Flowers will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Suitland (Forestville, MD).
