Arizona High School Volleyball - Combs over Cortez

The Combs Coyotes (San Tan Valley, AZ) volleyball overcame the visiting Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Combs betters its record to 5-3 on the year. The Coyotes host Peoria (Peoria, AZ) to face the Panthers in a non-league outing on Monday, September 18. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 4-7. Peoria won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ)

The Colts now sport a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Vista Grande for a 4A - Black Canyon outing on Tuesday, September 19. Cortez will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
