The Washburn Millers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Como Park Cougars to 1 in the Millers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Millers now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minneapolis South for a Minneapolis City game on Wednesday, September 20. Washburn will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.

The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Pioneers enter the non-league game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Hill-Murray was dropped by Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
