Indiana High School Volleyball - Covington over Fountain Central

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) and the host Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN), saw Covington's volleyball squad beat Fountain Central by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Covington upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN) to play the Bronchos in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Bronchos go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Lafayette Jefferson won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Carroll (Flora, IN)

The Mustangs now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. Fountain Central will play a Hot Dogs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN). The Hot Dogs record now stands at 8-12.
