The Flanagan-Cornell Falcons volleyball team (Flanagan, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL)

The Knights (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Olympia defeated Auburn (Auburn, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Coming up next, the Falcons play the Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 18. Flanagan-Cornell will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Seneca (Seneca, IL).
