Utah High School Volleyball - Gunnison Valley edged by Piute

The Piute Thunderbirds held off the host Gunnison Valley Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryce Valley for a 1A Region 20 test on Wednesday, September 20. Piute will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Valley (Orderville, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-7.
The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their test against North Summit (Coalville, UT). The Braves enter the 2A Region 15 test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, North Summit held off Grand County (Moab, UT), 3-0, in a league test.
