The Hill City Rangers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Sturgis Brown Scoopers to 1 in the Rangers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Rangers now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jones County for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Hill City will meet a Coyotes team coming off a 3-1 league loss to White River (White River, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-9.
The Scoopers (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Spearfish (Spearfish, SD). The Spartans enter the AA District 1 game with a 5-11 record. In their last game, Spearfish gained a win over Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD), 3-0, in a non-league game.
