In Thursday's non-league contest, the Jay Royals (Jay, FL) volleyball squad knocked off the host T.R. Miller Tigers (Brewton, AL), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Royals battle the Baker Gators (Baker, FL) in a 1A District 1 contest, on Friday, September 15. Jay will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Gators come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Pace (Pace, FL).

With the loss, T.R. Miller drops to 5-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Elberta (Elberta, AL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 16. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 6-10. Elberta won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Rain (Mobile, AL)
