In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Sussex Academy Seahawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Laurel Bulldogs.
The Seahawks (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Smyrna (Smyrna, DE). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Smyrna achieved victory over Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Laurel will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Woodbridge (Bridgeville, DE).
