The St. Bede Bruins topped the visiting Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Bruins now have a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. St. Bede will confront a Maroons team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 2-10.

The Wildcats (6-11) will now prepare for their test against DeLand-Weldon (DeLand, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, DeLand-Weldon was knocked off by Tournament Opponent (, ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
