The Midland Eagles prevailed the host Prince of Peace Prep Irish volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Eagles now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iowa Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Midland will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-12.
The Irish (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Valley Christian (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Huskies enter the Tri-Rivers - Valley test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Cedar Valley Christian dropped by Starmont (Arlington, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
