North Carolina High School Volleyball - Oak Grove tips Wesleyan Christian Academy

September 14, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27107

Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Grizzlies battle the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A match, on Tuesday, September 19. Oak Grove will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).

With the loss, Wesleyan Christian Academy drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, September 15. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 4-6. Calvary Day School won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Salem Academy (Winston-Salem, NC)
