The Waconia Wildcats topped the visiting Orono Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Wildcats now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delano for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 19. Waconia will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to New Prague (New Prague, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, Orono drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN) to battle the Zephyrs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 19. The Zephyrs come into the contest with a record of 4-7. Mahtomedi won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Elk River (Elk River, MN)
