In Thursday's non-league contest, the Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) volleyball squad knocked off the host Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Chucks battle the Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 16. Punxsutawney will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders go into the outing with a 3-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA).

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Clarion-Limestone for a non-league outing on Monday, September 18. Redbank Valley will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Union (Rimersburg, PA). The Lions record now stands at 5-0.
