The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) and the visiting Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI), saw Roosevelt's volleyball squad beat Taylor by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Bears host Allen Park (Allen Park, MI) to play the Jaguars in a Downriver bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Allen Park won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI)

The Griffins now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson for a Downriver bout on Tuesday, September 19.
