In Saturday's non-league match, the Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA) volleyball squad tipped the host King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Lions battle the Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach match, on Tuesday, September 17. Tallwood will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 8-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA).
The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Manor held off Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA), 3-0, in a league match.
