In Saturday's league match, the visiting Hauppauge Eagles football squad scored a decisive 38-0 triumph over the Amityville Memorial Warriors.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Harborfields (Greenlawn, NY). The Tornadoes come into the Section 11 Division III match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Harborfields was routed by Sayville (Sayville, NY), 41-7, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Kings Park Kingsmen (Kings Park, NY) in a Section 11 Division III match, on Friday, September 20. Amityville Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Kingsmen come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 34-20 league loss to Islip (Islip, NY).
