In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Bedford Bulldogs football squad scored a good 35-21 triumph over the Thornton Academy Trojans.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH). The Cardinals come into the Division I - West match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Bishop Guertin defeated Goffstown (Goffstown, NH), 28-20, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 21. Thornton Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 29-7 league loss to Portland (Portland, ME).
