New York High School Football - Haldane over Woodlands

The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY) and the host Woodlands Falcons (Hartsdale, NY), witnessed Haldane's football squad knock off Woodlands by a tally of 55-28.

The Blue Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Valhalla (Valhalla, NY). The Vikings enter the Section 1 C/D contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Valhalla gained a win over Tuckahoe (Eastchester, NY), 34-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Falcons battle the Hastings Yellow Jackets (Hastings on Hudson, NY) in a Section 1 C/D contest, on Saturday, September 21. Woodlands will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 40-8 league loss to Dobbs Ferry (Dobbs Ferry, NY).
