West Virginia High School Football - Jefferson defeats Spring Valley

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Jefferson Cougars football squad scored a good 45-31 victory over the Spring Valley Timberwolves .

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs enter the Eastern Panhandle match with a 3-0 record.

Coming up next, the Timberwolves confront the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a Mountain State match, on Friday, September 20. Spring Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 21-13 league loss to George Washington (Charleston, WV).
