The Poultney Blue Devils felled the visiting Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds football team by a score of 30-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Bellows Free Academy/Lamoille (Fairfax, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Poultney will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 35-13 league win over Milton (Milton, VT).
The Thunderbirds (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Green Knights go into the League 4 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Rice Memorial toppled Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT), 52-24, in a league challenge.
