The Rice Memorial Green Knights felled the visiting Mt. Abraham Eagles football team by a score of 52-24 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Green Knights face the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT) in a League 4 challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Rice Memorial will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 30-6 non-league loss to Poultney (Poultney, VT).
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Otter Valley (Brandon, VT). The Otters go into the League 4 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Otter Valley toppled Spaulding (Barre, VT), 29-15, in a league challenge.
