Delaware High School Football - Polytech tops Wilmington Charter

September 14, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19807

The Polytech Panthers football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Wilmington Charter Force to 7 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Indian River for a 1A District 2 test on Friday, September 20. Polytech will meet a Indians squad coming off a 46-28 non-league win over St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE). The Indians record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Wilmington Charter drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Force travel to Dickinson (Wilmington, DE) to meet the Rams in a 1A District 1 test on Friday, September 20. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-2. Dickinson lost 56-8 in their recent non-league test against Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE)
