In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Highland Park Giants football squad scored a good 30-16 triumph over the Palatine Pirates.
The Giants (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Bison come into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Buffalo Grove was beaten by Deerfield (Deerfield, IL), 49-0, in a non-league match.
