With the win, Escalon improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Cougars host El Capitan (Merced, CA) to face the Gauchos in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Gauchos go into the test with a record of 1-0. El Capitan won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Manteca (Manteca, CA)

The Bruins now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sonora for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Bear Creek will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Orestimba (Newman, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-0.
