The Lathrop Malemutes flag football squad scored 22 points and limited the host Eagle River Wolves to 0 in the Malemutes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Malemutes now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Pole for a Mid Alaska test on Tuesday, September 17. Lathrop will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Patriots record now stands at 5-0.

With the defeat, Eagle River drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Bartlett (Anchorage, AK) to clash with the Golden Bears in a Cook Inlet test on Wednesday, September 18. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 0-9.
