The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN). The Teddies enter the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Roosevelt tipped Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Blaze confront the Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN) in a Class AA Section 3 battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Burnsville will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Irish enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN).
