In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Selah Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Davis Pirates.

The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against La Salle (Union Gap, WA). The Lightning go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, La Salle was edged by Cle Elum-Roslyn (Cle Elum, WA), 9-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Pirates play the Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Davis will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Mavericks go into the outing with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA).
