Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) and the visiting Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV), saw Lewis County's soccer squad knock off Midland Trail by a score of 2-0.

The Minutemen (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Tyler (Sistersville, WV). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Tyler by Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Midland Trail will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Beavers enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV).
