The Melrose Red Raiders got by the host Reading Memorial Rockets football team by a score of 12-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Raiders play the Watertown Raiders (Watertown, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Melrose will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 14-12 non-league loss to Greater Lowell Tech (Tyngsborough, MA).
