Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) and the host Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA), saw Notre Dame-Green Pond's soccer squad hold off Catasauqua by a count of 2-1.

The Crusaders (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA). The Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Bethlehem Catholic was edged by Northampton (Northampton, PA), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Rough Riders confront the Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 18. Catasauqua will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
