In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Abingdon Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Carroll County Cavaliers.

The Falcons (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Maroons come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, George Wythe lost by Giles (Pearisburg, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers play the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 16. Carroll County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).
