In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Catholic Crusaders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks.

The Crusaders (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Oscar Smith was nudged by New Kent (New Kent, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Seahawks meet the TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Atlantic Shores Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Beach Breakers come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA).
