In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Severn Run volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Chesapeake Cougars.
The (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South River (Edgewater, MD). The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Cougars meet the Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Chesapeake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Severn Run (Severn, MD).
