In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Marin Academy Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pinole Valley Spartans.

The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against The Bay School (San Francisco, CA). The Breakers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, The Bay School beat Gateway (San Francisco, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, September 16. Pinole Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA).
