The Mentor Cardinals tipped the visiting Olmsted Falls Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 14. Mentor will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH). The Rangers enter the game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, North Ridgeville held off Steele (Amherst, OH), 2-1, in a league game.
