In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mountain View Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Piedmont Hills Pirates.

The Spartans (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Harker (San Jose, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Harker beat Eastside College Prep (East Palo Alto, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Piedmont Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA).
