Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) and the host Brunswick School Bruins (Greenwich, CT), saw Taft School's soccer squad triumph over Brunswick School by a count of 5-0.

The Big Red (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Martlets enter the Founders battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Westminster School was overwhelmed by Suffield Academy (Suffield, CT), 6-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bruins confront the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 18. Brunswick School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Pelicans enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH).
