Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers (LaSalle, IL) and the visiting DePue/Hall Little Giants (DePue, IL), saw LaSalle-Peru's soccer squad triumph over DePue/Hall by a count of 5-0.

The Cavaliers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sycamore (Sycamore, IL). The Spartans enter the Interstate Eight battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Sycamore tipped Batavia (Batavia, IL), 4-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Little Giants battle the Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL) in a Little Ten battle, on Monday, September 16. DePue/Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Oregon (Oregon, IL).
