Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Erie Royals (Erie, PA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Riverside advances its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Beavers host South (Willoughby, OH) to clash with the Rebels in a Western Reserve test on Tuesday, September 17. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 4-4. South won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Firestone (Akron, OH)

The Royals now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bradford for a District 10 Region 5 battle on Monday, September 16. Erie will confront a Owls squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to DuBois (DuBois, PA). The Owls record now stands at 2-5.
