In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Fleming County Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the West Carter Comets.

The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Engineers go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Estill County was overwhelmed by Rowan County (Morehead, KY), 8-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Comets confront the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 17. West Carter will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pikeville (Pikeville, KY).
