The Wildcats (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Mt. Vernon tipped Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL), 9-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Midgets confront the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) in a Cahokia (Mississippi Division) battle, on Thursday, September 19. Freeburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
