New York High School Soccer - Glens Falls held off by Peru

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) soccer team edged the visiting Glens Falls Black Bears (Glens Falls, NY), by a count of 2-1.

Next, the Nighthawks battle the Chateaugay Bulldogs (Chateaugay, NY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 16. Peru will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record.

The Black Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gloversville (Gloversville, NY). The Huskies/Dragons enter the Foothills Council- North contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Gloversville was nipped by South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY), 1-0, in a league contest.
