Indian Lake Lakers (Lewistown, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Indian Lake advances its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lakers host Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH) to clash with the Cougars in a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail test on Monday, September 16. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-2. Kenton Ridge lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Milton-Union (West Milton, OH)

The Jets now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Pleasant for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Northeastern will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Columbian (Tiffin, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
