Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Maine West advances its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Niles West (Skokie, IL) to clash with the Wolves in a Central Suburban - North test on Tuesday, September 17. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 2-2. Niles West 0-0 in their recent non-league test against New Trier (Winnetka, IL)

The Lions now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Payton College Prep for a Chicago Public Premier North test on Wednesday, September 18.
