Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY) and the host Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers (Oneida, KY), saw Madison Central's soccer squad hold off Oneida Baptist Institute by a count of 2-1.

The Indians (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Campbell County (Alexandria, KY). The Camels enter the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Campbell County was edged by Conner (Hebron, KY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Mountaineers battle the South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) in a District 49 battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Oneida Baptist Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY).
