In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Mechanicsburg Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Spring Grove Rockets.

The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against State College (State College, PA). The Little Lions enter the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, State College was edged by Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Rockets confront the Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 16. Spring Grove will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Polar Bears enter the outing with a 5-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Donegal (Mt. Joy, PA).
