Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN), 6-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Southridge moves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to South Spencer (Rockport, IN) to meet the Rebels in a Pocket test on Thursday, September 19. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 1-8.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Princeton for a Pocket test on Monday, September 16. Mt. Vernon will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
