West Virginia High School Soccer - University held off by South Charleston

September 14, 2024: Morgantown, WV 26508

In Saturday's non-league contest, the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) soccer team edged the host University Hawks (Morgantown, WV), by a tally of 2-1.

Next, the Black Eagles face the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) in a Mountain State contest, on Tuesday, September 17. South Charleston will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Highlanders enter the contest with a 6-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV).

The Hawks (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans enter the North Central contest with a 8-1 record.
