The Mules enter the game with a record of 3-2. Lathrop lost 9-1 in their recent non-league game against West Platte (Weston, MO)

The Hornets now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Trenton for a Class 2 District 15 game on Monday, September 16. Penney will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
